Elected County Officials Orientation &County Commissioner Certification Program

The Montana Association of Counties (MACo) and the Local Government Center have a long-standing working relationship. Working with MACo's Education Committee, the Local Government Center developed a 20-hours per year certification program for County Commissioners. MACo and the Local Government Center opened this program to other elected county officials as an educational opportunity. Only commissioners may receive certification, but the program is a valuable source of information for all county officials in Montana. Please contact Karen Houston, MACo Event Planner for more information (406) 449-4360 or
